My name is Sue and I had the pleasure along with a few others, in 1981 of forming the original and very successful Bishopstoke Dog Training Club. The club existed at the Memorial Hall on Friday evenings for 13 years until 1994, when it was sadly disbanded due to work and family commitments.
Within the time that the club was running I worked and competed my three dogs in competition obedience to a very high standard all over the country, as well as enjoying my Friday evenings spent training dogs and their owners at the Memorial Hall.
Having worked at Riverside Veterinary Surgery for more than 20 years although I have now left the practice to expand my business I still work closely with them and have always been involved with training help, advise and behaviour problems in a work capacity whilst running Puppy Socialisation sessions within the practice which i still return there to do, giving me 30 years plus experience.
All of the classes are designed to be enjoyable, informative and fun, and remember training your dog must be as enjoyable for him as it should be for you.
(By the way, I am very pleased to welcome back some of the “oldies” with their “new” dogs!)
